Visiting Wan

Abu Hurairah {may Allah be pleased with him} (R) reported that the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h. said: Every Muslim has five rights on other Muslims; returning his salutation, visiting the sick, following funerals, accepting invitations and blessing the sneezers.

Yes, visiting the sick is one of them ......  I took an emergency leave last Friday... got a call from my parents informing that my grandfather was hospitalised again!!! This was his second time in two weeks time...so i packed a few things, waiting for my parents to pick us up and off we head to HospitaL Raja Perempuan Bainun, Ipoh....

Thinking about my grandfather, i was not really close to him.....My grandmother passed away around 3 years already.... My Grandpa, Wan stays with my stepgrandmother...yes, i have a stepgrandmother since i can remember.... that is one of the reasons that i am not really that close to Wan...whatever it is, he is still my Wan....

We arrived at the hospital just in time for the visiting hours... luckily the hospital allows the children to enter, if not, me n hubby have to take turns to look after my two children....

Seeing him lying helplessly on bed, all wrinkled..and tube all over his hand, i quietly prayed for his speedy recovery.... Almost reaching 80, i think he is quite strong as a person....even in that health condition, praying at mosque is a must (for now, he has to pray on the hospital bed for sometime, i guess)... He was diagnosed with some bleeding in his abdomen...he had to endure a painful process in diagnosing his condition.... he was too old for that....

Around 2 p.m, we had to bid goodbye and we went straight home..... What a tiring day...
It is all worthwhile for the sake of someone you love!!!

Wan,

My heart and prayers
go out to U
I'll pray with all my heart
you get better soon.
I hope for the best.

well, dear readers......just a piece of my stories for you...... hope you are having fun reading it!!!!

Oh, my children!

“Your children are the greatest gift God will give to you, and their souls the heaviest responsibility He will place in your hands. Take time with them, teach them to have faith in God. Be a person in whom they can have faith. When you are old, nothing else you've done will have mattered as much."

At time like this, looking at those two faces whom I love dearly sleeping soundly,  my motherhood emotion was touched..... Am i capable to nurture my children to face everything and anything in the future???

Franklin Roosevelt once said we may not be able to prepare the future for our children, but we can at least prepare our children for the future,,,indeed its true... so parents, lets prepare our children with strong foundation in Islam...InsyaAllah, they will survive in the future....

Just came back from my FIL's house yesterday.....just around thirty plus kilometres from where we are staying right now..... and we have diapers models in da house!!!!! Tadaaa..............

Qalesya n uzair wit their cousin, alif (in the middle)... :)

Guess its time for some good sleep...gud nite  readers!!
Till then.....

SKS1 : Family Day

Have been very busy lately....getting ready for the coming examination, school sports day etc.....  tried my best to spend time for my blog..:) How i miss reading some of your blogs......

Amidst all the busyness , my school organized a family day at Tiara Beach Resort, Teluk kemang, P.D last Saturday. My mother and father tagged along.. I bet many of you have the experience of staying here... We took off in a convoy of merely 10 cars, our first stop was Ulu Bendul waterfall.. just to get some refreshment before having lunch at our former headmistress, Puan Jamilah's. Puan Jamilah invited us over to her house for lunch before going  to P.D.... well, never say no to good things!!.Tq Puan for such a delicious meal.....

Around 2 p.m, we continued our journey to PD..arrived there around 3, we directly checked in, and had a short nap.Tiara got quite a good waterpark... but for me, they did not do a good job in maintenance especially Block C (where we are staying)..it kinda looks old to me....... Then, water activity time...... my daughter was so excited to go into the water....

Kids can never feel boring when it comes to play ...

At night, we had a small dinner....

We finished around 10.30 p.m..
Woke up for our subuh prayer .. then immediately went for breakfast..... then we made some time for pool activity.. just to cheer up my kids... before checking out...

After checking out, we stopped at Teluk Kemang..... there was a carnival there...shopped some souvenirs and off we went to Giant Senawang....  Arrived home safely around 5 p.m.

Good to have some fun activities over the weekend... Unwind from work....
What's next??

Outing at Johor Premium Outlet

Went back to my hometown last weekend...Not included in our initial plan... it was an ad-hock decision...the car needed routine maintenance and Proton JB had better service than the one at my current town... so we drove off to my parents' last friday.... coincidentally, my aunt came and we had the chance to meet her and family.....

On Sunday, my aunt asked us to join their outing to JPO (Johor premium outlet).. the shopping heaven for the rich....(definitely, i don't fall into that category...but it is a good place for window-shopping too!!!)...
That was my second time in JPO....so please scroll down readers..............

oh. how i love this pic.......

the family....getting ready for window-shopping...

we bumped into a model (photo-shooting session)...so damn sexy.... for men out there...don't look too long at this pic... Nauzubillah..... :)

some of the designers' boutiques here.....

Soon after that, we drove our way to Nusajaya, wanting to see the Karnival Nusajaya by ourselves.... but we ended up having lunch at Mydin Nusajaya without even stop at the carnival.... cars were parked kilometres away from the site....it was a hot and scorching noon, so we opted not to go.... what a relief!!!

Then, we bid goodbye to my aunt and off to my parents'... later in the afternoon, my hubby drove us back again.....

Legoland???? too expensive although we were so there already..... not in the budget..huhu...
till then...

SKS 1: Retirement party

"Retirement - goodbye tension, hello pension!"

Yesterday was my headmistress's retirement party.... quite a big event it was... i was put to be in charge of the feast together with my colleague, kak Nisa'. Only two people for such a big event to organise a feast??? Really a no no .....With the help of the canteen workers, we managed to overcome the burden of preparing the feast for the VIPs..

It was the first in my school to hold such event, so it kinda new experience for everyone... like i said before, there will always a first time...

Puan Jamilah's was brought to school by the beautifully-decorated motorcycle ( see me posing on the motorcycle??!!).. her arrival was greeted with kompang and drum beat....upon her arrival, our GPK, Cik Noraine presented her with bouquet of flowers.... she then was escorted to the hall where the ceremony will be held..

Note:she was in tears all along the ceremony.... some of us were also in the same emotion....

the people behind the feast..(me, kak Nisa' and kak ina)..the VIP room
Many programs were held...as usual there were rounds and rounds of speech, performances by the teachers and pupils, multimedia presentation and of course, Puan Jamilah will be presented by gifts by people who adore her much (teachers, the workers etc).. Puan Jamilah got all the special treatment on that day...she even sat on the dais to witness the historical day of her life... that explained the tears rolling down her cheeks....

The ceremony came to a stop at noon... it was the time to bid goodbye... a send-off ceremony took place...

Then, she was sent home.... the school had lost a dear headmistress i have ever known....

Puan Jamilah,
We'll miss you. You were one of a kind, and not easily replaced. Congratulations on your retirement.

How will the new headmaster be??? I wonder...........

Bowl or bowl over??!! :)

Feeling bored at home, after attending an open house, suddenly got a call from my younger brother inviting us for bowling...Yeah, why not??!! Haven't play bowling since i got married...That long??!!! Yes.... Wondering if i would bowl over on the slippery lane...

Off we go to Kuantan, together with my parents..After a nice dinner at H. Lidah Restaurant ( a nice and cheap restaurant-first time there, will come back for more, InsyaAllah...),we went straight for the bowling centre....i forgot the name of that mall..huhu....

Not so many people were there, so we easily got ourselves a lane....had to pay for the socks and the shoes as well....forgot to bring own socks...

The supporters!!!

Like a pro...... uwekkk!!!

Don't do thisat home!!!!huhu.....Although, the score was just so-so, but the style is all that matters...:)
While on the game, the system went wrong and there goes all our scores...so had to start all over again with only one name on the scoreboard..... we were so pissed off and wanted to a free game but time was running so late, we just finished off and went back....

Shud have another bowling session again soon.....Do you bowl??

Going West: Selangor and KL trip

Lately, i find it is so hard to spend time for blogging.... be it family issues, career demand or many many other things...... So, my entry always had to be backdated...so sorry guys...but i do hope you still enjoy my writing....

me and hubby share the same hobby...travelling..... we love travel so much and in a month we took sometimes to go unwind from work... so the place will be as per budget..hehhe.... last two weeks, we went west to bangi n KL, just to attend hubby's colleague who is getting married In MPOB hall, Bangi... tagged along were my SIL and also FIL..... We stayed a night at uncle's from hubby's side (Pak Tam) at Taman Melawati....
At noon, we drove our way to MPOB Hall, Bangi to attend the wedding......

My hubby thought, it will be a waste if we came here and did not go to KL... i smiled widely...yes...  we went north to KL...drove our way to Sogo...bought some clothes for my kids, my hubby, myself..of course... and not to forget...my FIL and SIL....
Late, in the afternoon, we decided to start our journey back, it was late already, and we had to work the next day.... we used the LEKAS highway and suddenly, my hubby decided to stop at Kajang....If we talk about Kajang, sate definitely will come to your mind...right!! we had some sates at the famous Hj Sahmuri...
The place is huge enough to accomodate many many people and the Satay can only be great with a perfect peanut sauce — and lots of it too. Haji Samuri does not skimp on the sauce and gives you all that you want.We ordered other foods to accompany the satay... But the main focus is truly on the satay, so other menus were just okay.....

Then,we went home straight after that...arrived around 2 a.m.... and me and hubby had to work the next day...
tired but all worthwhile...hehe...

Till then.......
