Iftar @ Sangkar Kristal, JB

This restaurant was featured in last Sunday News Straits Times (Johor Edition) with the heading "Ramadhan Buffet with 99 dishes". and yes, i, myself had iftar there last night... i followed my parents there as they were going to have iftar together with father's colleagues....lucky me to have that kind of chance for free...hehhe..

Anyway, i believed i could do better with more pictures and less words...scroll down please....

The ambiance was great but maybe it was too crowded.....

The entrance...we were greeted with guitar and drum beat

The performances (angklung and singing by the local disguised as 'Pak Arab"...heheh..at least i thought so)

a wide range of sumptuous food..... claimed to be 99 dishes... but i lose count....heheh... managed to taste only few of them or else i will be bloated...

 For my own opinion, the food is fairly good.... I can't possibly taste everything, so if i had another chance of going there, i will definitely eat others....:)

I was told the iftar was priced at RM40 for an adult..... it was a really competitive price compared to the other restaurant at this standard(my own opinion)... that explained the numbers of people there!!!
This restaurant, which is located near the Pelangi Golf Driving Range, also has a prayer room for Muslim men and women who intend to pray before returning to their meal . So, no worries... I've been told that we could eat up to 9 p.m so we stayed until 8.30 p.m last night.....eating desserts!!!!

The Rich House - A personal view...

Have u ever been to a cafe before feeling all frustrated about the food and drinks they served??? Yes, i did....
Recently, we went to the newest kopitiam in the suburb Taman Yayasan,Segamat for our supper.. once u stepped in, yes, the ambience is quite great....

Posing in front of the cafe.....i did smile even after having that kind of supper....

 We ordered a hot curry mee and a banana muffin  along with mango juice and honey dew soda drink....
But....all i tasted was bland......but, surely, this is my own personal view of the food....
It will take me a while to come back to this cafe....just in case they will improvise on the taste someday later...

 ermm.... other dishes may taste differently...  but from what i heard, my colleague also experienced the same thing...
