It took me a while since my last entry cos I had to find times in between career demands and also a hobby of mine (blogging)...huhuh..
Continued from my previous entry..Day 2 of my Langkawi trip...The visit to any island would never be completed , if island-hopping was not included on your trip........Paid RM30 per an adult, we did island-hopping activity...we shared the same boat with few tourists from Japan, India and Australia.....

Getting ready for the activity..... |
Our first stop was Beras Basah Island (Wet Rice Island)... We were given an hour to spend our times there...most of them were so ready to do some swimming and snorkelling...we were just sitting and relaxing there.... admiring the beautiful surroundings... there were lots of monkeys roaming around the island..waiting for tourists to feed them....and the first thing i spotted when we strolled along the jetty was the water was crystal clear.... you can see many small fish in the water... u can actually feed them with bread....
Then, our next stop, was to see eagles from close-up.... i forgot to ask the boat driver the name of the island, but we just stayed on the boat and watched the eagles flying and catching fish... the boat driver even threw a basket full of fish to the ocean to attract the eagles to fly down near our boat..... it was truly an amazing experience..... now maybe i can figure out a bit how langkawi got its name......
Our last stop was the none other than Dayang Bunting Island.... the driver showed us the island from far to see how the island got its name....its really looks like a figure of a pregnant lady lying down.... we were given an hour there...so we walked our way up and down the steep stairs to the Tasik Dayang Bunting (The lake of Pregnant maiden).... it was really a beautiful scenery down at the lake...... the water was icy-cold even on that scorching hot afternoon....
Feeling all exhausted, hungry and even thirsty when we reached the jetty, we straight headed to Pekan Rabu and had our lunch there..... After fueling up ourselves, we drove our way to the scenic UnderWaterWorld...
a fee of RM28 per an adult was just worthwhile as i enjoyed myself very much there!!!!
After enjoying ourselves inside the Underwater World, we went to the duty free mall-The Zone which is situated just beside the Underwater World... not buying anything there (as we already bought so many in the other shops!!) we went to quench our thirst and fill our stomach again at the nerby McD.....
On our way back to the apartment, we stopped at Beras Terbakar (Field of Burnt Rice)... seriously said, nothing much to be seen..... there was no attraction at all... most of the stall were closed due to the upcomig Raya Haji..so we just spend like 10 minutes there.....
Feeling tired of reading this entry?? Sorry.... This was bits and pieces of my second day trip at Langkawi......... till then...
